13Jan LG Optimus 2X aka T-Mobile G2X Overview
The dual core era for smartphones is in full swing, and that’s simply great for consumers and manufacturers alike. Of all the SOCs (System-on-a-Chip, which is basically the chip that has the main processor, video adapter and sometimes the memory in mobile devices), the Tegra 2 by NVidia was the first to achieve the low power specs required to run and actually be usable in a modern smartphone.

25Dec Samsung Exhibit 4G Review
T-Mobile in the United States has got a smartphone for everyone, from techno geeks who want the latest and greatest gadget, to business people who just need a fast enough and reliable smartphone and just recently they started adding some pretty good offers for those who just want a cheap phone, but who wouldn’t shy away from any extra features they can get for the price.

Samsung Exhibit 4G Android Phone
Up until now, these were feature phones, with a touch screen, camera, Web browser and other useful tools, but which lacked a proper OS that could be modified however the user wanted and have a wide range of apps available for it. And now the low-end Android phones are all the rage, and they really changed everything, as now the user has access to all the apps on the Android marketplace and can use them on a cheap and relatively fast phone that is truly smart. The latest smartphone from this range is the Samsung Exhibit 4G, which provides a pretty impressive set of features for a very low price. (more…)
25Dec Motorola Xoom Dual Core Tablet Quick Overview
The iPad has single-handedly created the tablet market and brought a lot of profits to Apple and other companies along the way, but it has been the king in the niche for a bit too long, especially with its relatively limited feature set. With the announcement of dual core processors for tablets and smartphones, there was no way this device can last for much longer, so Apple released the iPad 2 pretty soon after.

Stylish looks coupled with a beautiful 10 inch display
But the first dual core tablet that set to directly take on the iPad and beat it in sales was the Motorola Xoom, which has a lot of firsts and great features under the hood. To start with, there is its new and refreshed look, with the most noticeable feature being the presence of two cameras (a 2 megapixels unit on the front and a bigger 5 megapixels one with LED flash on the back) and the lack of any hardware buttons. 23Dec LTE enabled HTC Thunderbolt Review
The HTC Thunderbolt has long been known on the rumor mill as the Pyramid, HTC’s new flagship smartphone, which was supposed to have a dual core processor, HD display, 2 GB of RAM and God knows what else. Unfortunately, fans were really in for a big disappointment, as the new phone that HTC announced was nothing like that.

Still, the Thunderbolt is not as bad as the more hardcore Android fans think – it’s just a matter of setting too high expectations for it. We now have the phone that everyone was actually expecting, the HTC Sensation, and it turned out to have most of the rumored features. The Thunderbolt still sells however, and is a great choice for everyone who wants an affordable, reliable and fast smartphone with support for Verizon’s new 4G LTE network. (more…)
