Avoid Black Hat Search Engine Optimization… or else….

But I don’t like Spam.,

Black Hat SEO are methods to try to improve rankings that are disapproved of by the search engines specially the giant GOOGLE due to its unethical manner. Search engines may penalize sites they discover using black hat methods, either by reducing their rankings or eliminating their listings from their databases altogether blocking the site from being crawled by their spiders forever. Such penalties can be applied either automatically by the search engines’ algorithms, manual review of a site or reports coming from the wesites competitors. This can range from text that is “hidden”, either as text colored similar to the background or in an invisible or left of visible div, or by redirecting users from a page that is built for search engines to one that is more human friendly. A method that sends a user to a page that was different from the page the search engined ranked is Black hat as a rule. One well known example is Cloaking, the practice of serving one version of a page to search engine spiders/bots and another version to human visitors.

Black Hat SEO Techniques To Avoid

Keyword stuffing:
Adding so many keywords into your tags and into the body of your website will get you penalized eventually by search engines. Remember that keywords should be related to your content. Each page should contain keywords that is matching with the webpage content.

Invisible text:
Creating and pasting a bunch of keywords in white text on a white background in hopes of attracting more search engine spiders. Again, not a good way to attract searchers or search engine crawlers.

Doorway Pages:
web pages that are created for spamdexing, this is, for spamming the index of a search engine by inserting results for particular phrases with the purpose of sending you to a different page. They are also known as bridge pages, portal pages, zebra pages, jump pages, gateway pages, entry pages and by other names. Doorway pages that redirect visitors without their knowledge use some form of cloaking.
