Filipina to join Globe Roamer TV

I got an email from Annalyn Jusay last night informing the rest of the Pinoy Travel Bloggers about her involvement on this new Globe Roamer TV documentary focusing several travel bloggers around the Globe. Annalyn is a local journalist and most of her published articles (Manila Bulletin) focused on the local Blogosphere. She was the first member to be admitted to the team, which will have its launch in San Francisco, California in September 2008.

The overall idea is to have a user built Internet TV show that is presented via vlogs (video blogs) and regular blogs, as well as a main website (coming soon!). The trip will go on for anywhere between 6 to 12 months and EVERY day will be documented via video and individual blogging.

The journey will be documented and presented as a “story” in its total and complete form. We will, however, present it almost live on a daily basis, or as often as we can use the Internet.

Targeted Departure Date: September 1st, 2008

Travel by air, bus, train, boat, and bike.

The team will travel around the world and we’ll be working hard to experience as much as possible in the time frame we eventually decide to aim for. This will be no 5 star journey. No, I plan on having us in youth hostels and guest houses at every stop. Sometimes we’ll be sleeping on trains and buses.
