Making use of articles to make money

write articles make money onlineLooking through the online affiliate marketing world, you’ll notice that most sites or blogs fall into two categories. There are sites that simply have a list of links to other sites that sell products. You’ll notice that these sites come up often in web searches on Google or Yahoo, but they don’t seem very useful since all they have is other links and no actual content of their own.

The other kind of affiliate site is the kind that you want. It is a site that has all the same links that the others do, but it also has content. Now, what does “content” mean, anyway? Content is simply an internet term that means articles or information that you upload on your web page or blog. Why do affiliate sites that use content / articles work better than those that don’t? It’s simple. If content building was done effectively, article writing and syndication can do wonders for your business. The usefulness of articles doesn’t stop getting readership, it can also be converted to sales. If you tailor your article correctly you can have it reach top rankings in Google and create multiple instant sales.

If you click on a link, say, a blog about Affiliate Marketing and Making Money Online, which would you rather find? A list of links to other blogs that you have no idea if they are any good or not or if they even link to a reputable company? Or an informative, well-written article about earning money online that has a link at the bottom for a company that, while you still don’t know if they are trustworthy or not, the person who wrote this content thinks so and they sure sound like they know what they are talking about. Which one do you think does better sales every month? Exactly. The site that uses articles, not just articles! but well written articles.

This is the number one reason why you should be knowledgeable about the products you wish to sell. It will be a million times easier to write content that sounds like it was written by an expert if you know your way around your product. If a web surfer stumbles upon your site, finds your articles well-written, informative and fun and then sees a link to buy a product related to the article, your chances of making money off of that customer go up 100 times. The big secret to affiliate marketing isn’t a magic formula or miracle catchphrase. It’s well-writen content.

There are even freelance writers out there that will write content for you, for a small fee. You can even hire Virtual Assistants who can write articles for you depending on your requested topic. It may seem like a silly thing to invest in on the surface, but once you see the hard numbers that show how much better affiliate sites do with content then without, you’ll be on board in no time flat.

Many people are lazy and are not going to write articles and that’s ok, but those people should definitely invest in a good ghost writing freelancers to write their article for them. I often check article publishing websites and a special niche club in addition to writing my own articles.

Good articles converts to Good Content and i will eventually lead to wide readership and of course TRAFFIC… Where do you prefer to invest your time and money? Link farming or Article writing?

  • @ Best of blogs: thanks for the link love

  • I agree with you that good articles converts to good content with wide readership and increased traffic but we must also avoid lumping tons of content together. Readers would only want to see related and interesting contents. Use bullet forms, highlights or boldface for important details. With this, it is more likely that more visitors will drop by your blog for short but rich posts

  • I agree 100%. It is important in this age of mass produced content to set our articles apart from those that are syndicated at random. You can make great money off of great articles. It just takes time and attention to detail.
