A very inspiring and practical book. It goes well with some of my favorites - E-myth, Getting Things Done, and How To Lose Friends and Infuriate People.
I borrowed it from a friend and I was thinking of either refusing to give it back or buying my own copy. I won’t mind if I have this third option of winning a copy from Melo to save my friendship and recover from being a bibliokleptophile. :)
Some concepts I found useful in 4HWW:
- Act outside the box. Thinking is not enough.
- Get out of your comfort zones - like being too shy to approach pretty girls.
- 9-5 is an arbitrary, social illusion. If a task can be done in a few hours or minutes, why waste your time in the office. A friend of mine calls this office phenomenon as AIDS - As If Doing Something.
- Eliminate all the clutter and time wasting in your personal and professional life, like checking your email 30 times a day and clothes in your closet you wore two years ago.
-Bigger dreams are more practical.
Anyway, your blog rocks, Melo.
‘Nuff said. Back to work.

I have this book it’s really good. It actually teaches you certain exercises which you have to practice. In some exercises, it tells you to stop reading the book, practice the given exercise for 24 hours, and then come back and continue reading. This book would be very beneficial for almost anybody, not only those who are looking to work the “4 hour work week”. Excellent book!!

Great book. Currently reading it at the moment.

Oh goodness, not another one of those. It is just impossible to make money working only 4 hours a week. You most likely have to put up your own money first and that is just stupid. I work online but luckily I didn’t have to invest anything to get started. But from the reviews I’m seeing maybe I should check it out.
