I noticed a huge difference when I started to drink more water and eat more fiber. Lost more weight through these two things (and some good old exercise) than any of these ‘faddy’ diets.

I said it before, and I will say it again:
In order to lose weight AND keep it off, you MUST exercise as well. I have too many friends that think they can start a diet and the pounds will just disappear. Maybe if you got the metabolism of a bird, but for the rest of us, you need to exercise.
I lost 15 pounds this year so far by doing the Medifast diet program AND taking a walk around the block every single night.
It doesn’t take much to get back into shape.

I definitely agree that losing weight is very difficult, it varies and cannot be achieved in a blink of an eye nor can you achieve the desired results overnight. Some reasons may be out of our reach and require professional assistance, such as medical reasons like Cushings Syndrome or when your adrenal glands produce way too much cortisol, Hypothyroidism or when the thyroid is underactive and doesn’t burn fat, there is hormonal imbalance and/or insulin resistance. Depression and stress leading to emotional eating can also contribute to excessive weight gain. Medications to your current health conditions may also chip in to you having trouble losing weight. Weight loss is never an easy task. But with proper and consistent exercise, healthy lifestyle and diet with all your determination to reach your target, losing weight and toning up those muscles can be as easy as eating your favorite desserts.
