Looking forward to giving a special person a well-thought-of gift for Valentine’s Day? Why not give a gift of technology instead? They keep a loved one in touch and also offer plenty of functionalities for work and play. Here are a few choices:
Laptop computers
Computers are a must-have in this day and age. Why not give an ultra-portable laptop computer as your gift for Valentine’s? It’s the perfect gift for anybody and not just your significant other. Try super-thin but highly functional laptops such as Toshiba’s Portege R500 or Fujitsu’s LifeBook Q2010, both thinner and lighter than most laptops and offers plenty of features.
Or, why not give the new MacBook Air from Apple? It’s also small and thin (at just 3lbs., 076″ thick), has a built-in camera, 2GB of SDRAM (upgradable if you prefer more room) and a fast, custom-made Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.
Smartphones
Be sure you keep in touch on Valentine’s Day with the newest smartphone models. Other than the iPhone, there are also plenty of choices out there for you. There are the ubiquitous Blackberry phones, which remains as the top choice in the U.S. or you can take your pick of Nokia’s N Series phones. The North American edition N95 is an excellent choice, with plenty of 3G goodies and outstanding functionalities. Manufacturers such as LG, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson also have great offerings.
Video game consoles
If your lovey is a video game enthusiast, the latest video game console will make him/her a happier person. Get the Nintendo Wii (throw in the Nunchuk for good measure), the Microsoft Xbox and of course, the Sony Playstation. If the recipient of your generosity likes older games, try GameCube, also from Nintendo. With so many choices there are available, you’re sure to find the perfect Valentine’s gift this year.

Ah! The Wii is sooo awesome! I’m one of those girls who has never been a huge fan of video games, but the Wii is so interactive that it makes playing so much fun. Plus it’s fun to compete against friends and significant others…brings a little bit of the competitive monster out of you. I also feel like it’s almost some of a workout—I’m addicted to Wii Tennis.
Oh, and I would definitely have no problem if I got a new laptop for V-day…just saying :)

Those are great valentines gift ideas. Though could also broke your bank. I wish someone would give me a laptop as a valentines gift.
i cant choose between a 3g sony ericson phone or a laptop…how about both (luv, are you listening..im cue-ing you!)
