A new opportunity is now open for photography enthusiasts as the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and the Philippine Information Agency enjoins participation of professional and amateur photographers in the “Isang Pitik sa Charity” Photo Contest.
The contest aims to gather photos showing all acts of kindness done by people from all walks of life as it also promotes the institutional brand message “spread the charity virus.”
“A no limit” entries to this contest must give a picture of all acts of charity or kindness of every Filipino in different settings or circumstances. Photo paper to be used in the printing of entries is not specified, or it is to the discretion of the participating photographer.
Raw file photo entries shall have a minimum of 5 megapixels @ 300 dpi. Low resolution images will be disqualified. Entries can be colored and/or black & white. Altered digital photographs are not allowed.
Each photo entry must be accompanied by an Entry Form which can be downloaded from PIA and PCSO websites. The form should contain the photographer’s name, address and contact numbers; title of entry; category (Professional or Amateur); caption/brief description or background of the picture such as where and when the picture was taken (barangay, city, municipality and province) as well as other circumstances related to the taking of the picture and other vital information.
PCSO is also announcing that their chosen top 100 photos shall be reproduced or reprinted into bigger sizes for exhibits and other purposes without additional compensation to owners, however, credits shall be given to photographers who shall retain the copyright of his/her photos.
